Kayla Miranda

Kayla Miranda’s passion is basketball. Her ability to drive to the hoop, take the outside shot or pull up and shoot the short jumper make her an offensive threat all over the court. She’s a fierce defender that enjoys a physical game. Her defensive skills have denied top scorers from schools across Arizona and the nation. Kayla Miranda possesses leadership, discipline and drive on and off the court. Her work ethic and focus ensure success in academics and athletics.

Kayla Miranda - Highland Awards

Since grade school, Kayla Miranda dreamed of playing basketball at Highland High School in Gilbert, Arizona. Their traditions of hard work, team building and winning appealed to her. She has had a very successful tenure there, just finishing her junior year on the Varsity team. Kayla has been honored with the following awards while at Highland:

Sophomore Year (17-1): Defensive Player of the Year

Freshman Year (18-0): Hawk Award for Outstanding Player
